Florida Shrimp & Grits

Ingredients |

cup (1 stick) butter |
|
2 |
Florida garlic cloves, minced |
|
3 |
Florida green onions, chopped |
|
1 |
pound Florida shrimp, peeled and deveined |
|
1 |
cup Florida grape tomatoes, halved |
|
|
salt to taste |
|
|
freshly ground pepper to taste |
|

Preparation |
|
|
Heat the butter in a nonstick frying pan. Add onions, garlic, and shrimp and sauté for two minutes. Add tomatoes, salt, and pepper and cook for one more minute. Pour over cooked grits and garnish with green onion and tomatoes.
