Tater tots…. I love Sonic!

Well, I have discovered something new… or at least new for those of us in Florida… SONIC!
Yes, I am now a fan of Sonic for one reason and one reason only – tater tots! When these nuggets from heaven (or perhaps Idaho) are piping hot and salty, they will burn your mouth and make you smile at the same time. They are terrific.

It’s fun to go to Sonic for the old-time drive-in experience of the server on roller skates bringing your food to your car window.
Ask for something that’s not on the menu - a Frito Pie. It’s Frito Corn Chips topped with chili and cheese - yummmm! Great with tator tots.
We’ve been fortunate to live in places with Sonic for the last 8 years. Sometimes it just hits the spot.
The BEST thing from Sonic is a Diet Coke (with a fresh lime in it). The Diet Coke is fine, but the ICE from Sonic….fantastic. It’s that nice, slushy/soft ice that you can chew on for the rest of the afternoon.
When trying to save money (or drink more water) I found they will sell you just a cup of ice…34 cents for a big cup!
